Project Highlights

Herold Engineering was the overall Project Manager for the Vehicle Processing Centre. Herold provided preliminary design, detailed design, construction inspection and as-constructed services for the $5.7 million Vehicle Processing Centre at the Nanaimo wharf area including site development. The project consisted of upgrading and repair of an existing 60,000 SF 50-year old pre-engineered metal warehouse to meet National Building Code seismic standard, the paving of the existing site, relocation of site access, installation of underground, storm and sanitary sewer piping, water services, electrical conduit, installation of Musco lighting and bases, fencing, gates, concrete roadside barriers, and pavement markings.
