Project Highlights

Herold Engineering was involved in Phase 1 & 2 of the new playground project at Maffeo Sutton Park. Our Engineering team designed the drainage system for the playground equipment and playing surfaces along with the structural footings for the hand-carved canoe play structure. Included are several climbing structures, musical instruments, tactile play areas and a custom-designed canoe carved by Snuneymuxw artist Noel Brown.

The $650,000 project completed the adjacent phase one playground improvements which were completed in 2020.
