Herold Engineering is a proud supporter of the Extreme Science Challenge put on yearly by VIU which  managed to raise $11,000 towards science supplies for the winning teachers and classrooms.  Even through Covid-19 challenges, VIU was able to make this virtual event a great hit with 191 school classes in participation ranging from kindergarten to grade 7 and  from Duncan to Qualicum Beach to Tofino.
