Shifting our Attention to Energy Modelling

As the industry rapidly shifts its attention to buildings’ energy efficiency, our staff at Herold Engineering is also prepared to service the new marketplace.

Making accurate energy saving decisions on a building are the most common reason why many municipalities are turning to energy-modeling thermal performance regulations. Starting April 21st, 2020, the City of Nanaimo along with other governing bodies have been adopting numerous thermal performance regulations and many Municipalities will now require various levels of energy modelling on various types of projects when applying for Building Permits.
