HEROLD ENGINEERING LIMITED is active in marine related projects in both prime and subconsultant roles for various municipal, provincial and federal agencies. We have in-house underwater thickness measuring equipment for steel piling and sheet piling assessments and provide the following marine services:

  • Marine ways

We have been involved in a significant number of marine and park trailway projects in both prime and sub consultant roles for various municipal, provincial and federal agencies. We have gained valuable experience over this period on similar projects such as the proposed Harbour Pathway – Fisherman’s Wharf to Rock Bay, for the City of Victoria.

Previous marine/trailway projects have been completed for the City of Nanaimo, Nanaimo Port Authority, District of North Cowichan, City of Parksville, Greater Vancouver Water District, City of Courtenay and the District of Langford. We have completed a marine walkway in Ucluelet and were also involved in the widening of Craigflower Bridge for bicycle lanes and wider sidewalks on both sides for the District of View Royal and the Municipality of Saanich.

Herold Engineering Limited has an excellent ongoing working relationship with numerous municipal, provincial and federal governments and has a two year standing offer agreement with Fisheries and Oceans Canada for above and below water dock and float inspections and upgrades.
